Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara District Set to Welcome Grand 'Hanuman Lok' Spiritual Complex

In a significant development that is set to augment the spiritual landscape of Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled plans for the establishment of 'Hanuman Lok' at Saunsar in the revered Chhindwara district. Inspired by the Mahakal Lok corridor constructed at the Mahakaleshwar temple complex in Ujjain, this ambitious project aims to provide devotees with a haven for spiritual reflection and devotion.

The foundation stone for 'Hanuman Lok' was ceremoniously laid by Chief Minister Chouhan on the 24th of August, marking a momentous step towards creating a sacred hub dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple site is located in Saunsar, which holds historical significance and is known as the political stronghold of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath.

This visionary project, developed over an area of approximately 26.50 acres, is expected to incur an investment of over Rs 35 crore. The architectural marvel will unfold in two phases, encompassing various aspects of Lord Hanuman's divine presence and teachings.

In the inaugural phase, visitors can expect to traverse a grand entrance gate, meticulously designed in the illustrious Marathwada architectural style. A sprawling 500-meter-long Chiranjeevi path will lead devotees from the main entrance to the primary courtyard, adorned with captivating visuals of Hanuman ji's youthful form, inspired by Anjani's son.

Within the vast expanse of approximately 90 thousand square feet comprising the path and first courtyard, the devotional narrative will intricately depict Shiromani Hanuman ji, the epitome of devotion. Sculptures and artifacts will bring to life the spiritual essence of this revered devotee.

As part of this comprehensive initiative, plans for Muktakashi Manch, a dedicated area for Ramlila and religious functions, are in the pipeline. The complex will also house an Ayurvedic hospital, ensuring holistic well-being for visitors.

The natural beauty of the surroundings will be further enhanced by the beautification and landscaping of the nearby riverbank, offering serene spots for devotees to gather and reflect. Seating arrangements will be thoughtfully incorporated to create a tranquil environment conducive to prayer and meditation.

The second phase of 'Hanuman Lok' will encompass a plethora of facilities aimed at enriching the spiritual experience of visitors. The Sanjivani Path for circumambulation of the Ramtekari mountain, Ashtasiddhi Center and Sanskrit School, Yogshala Lecture Hall and Open Air Theatre, as well as the construction of a ghat, waterfront pathway, sitting areas, Bhakt Niwas, Bhojanalaya, and Cowshed, are all slated for development.

This remarkable project bears testament to the commitment of the Madhya Pradesh government to providing spiritual seekers with an immersive and enlightening experience. With a harmonious blend of architectural marvels and serene natural landscapes, 'Hanuman Lok' is poised to become a beacon of devotion, peace, and tranquility in the heart of Chhindwara district.
