Buddha Circuit and Akhada Traditions

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast of authentic Kashi cuisine, served with hot fragrant tea and toast, at the world-famous Lakshmi Chai.

Once we have finished our delicious breakfast, we will embark on a fascinating journey to explore the traditional exercises of Akhadas. These Akhadas are the training grounds for the wrestlers of Kashi, where they practice ancient physical disciplines that have been passed down through generations.

We will begin our exploration by visiting the famous Chaukhandi Stupa, a magnificent structure that was built in the 5th century to commemorate the spot where Lord Buddha first met his disciples. 

Next, we will visit the magnificent Dhamekh Stupa, one of the largest and most well-preserved stupas in India. 

Finally, we will visit the Sarnath Museum, which is home to a vast collection of ancient artifacts and relics, including the famous Ashoka Pillar.

As we explore the markets, we will be captivated by the vibrant colors and intricate designs of the local products. We will also have the opportunity to interact with the local artisans and learn about their techniques and inspirations.

After an enjoyable shopping experience, we will head back to Kashi to savor some of the best local cuisine.

Finally, after a long and tiring day of exploration and adventure, we will retire to our place for some much-needed rest, reflecting on the memorable experiences we have had throughout the day.
